Audio Video Export, LLC was established in 2006 by Michael Samper and Matthew Garfein.
Matthew Garfein is founder and President of Audio Americas , a consumer electronics sales agency specializing in Latin America and the Caribbean. Matthew brings to AVE 14 years of experience in the audio industry and an extensive knowledge of the consumer electronics landscape in Latin America. Previously Matthew was Latin America Sales Manager for Audio Products International (API), for whom he established Latin America & Caribbean export distribution. In the 1990's he worked as Marketing Manager for NHT (Now Hear This), a California-based loudspeaker manufacturer.
Michael Samper has been involved in the consumer electronics business throughout Latin America and the Caribbean for 14 years. Having spent the previous seven years as Regional Sales Manager – Latin America for Toshiba America Consumer Products, Michael left the company in 2007 to manage Audio Video Export on a full-time basis. Prior to working for Toshiba, he managed Santiago, Chile-based I.E. Bahnimex, a consumer electronics import distribution company. |
